- Dr Rocio Rosales Meza
Scarcity is a colonial lie. You are worthy of abundance and liberation.
Scarcity is a colonial illusion.

Scarcity keeps us in fear, keeps us in competition, keeps us under their thumb.
Beloveds, these are the difficult conversations, the ones that exist at the intersections of spirituality and decolonizing.
You see, abundance is TRUTH.
It is our birthright.
It is the Indigenous way. There is enough us, for all of us if we exist in right relationship with our Mother Earth & with each other.
There is enough for us if we break the colonial shackles on our mind.
To be clear, I’m speaking to BIWFOC.
Because of colonial patriarchal programming, we have been indoctrinated to believe we deserve LESS.
We have been indoctrinated to be comfortable with LESS.
We have been indoctrinated to believe we ARE LESS, INFERIOR, UNDESERVING.
Unworthy of wellness, of rest, of our dreams, of ease, of abundance.
And the thing is even when we begin to heal, we don’t even realize how much we are still operating from scarcity.
Scarcity makes us believe that we should always be STRUGGLING.
Our colonial programming makes us numb to how depleted and burn out we are.
We become so used to being depleted, to struggling that even when we begin to heal, we don’t realize how much we still do it.
And for BIWFOC, we become so used to servitude that we don’t even realize that when we begin to heal, how much we still overextend ourselves.
This has happened to me too dear heart, you are not alone.
May you allow this medicine beloved.
May you allow yourself to thrive and not just survive.
May you allow ease and abundance.
May we stop allowing the colonizer to win and get out of our way.
May we take back our power.
May we allow ourselves to show up for each other and RECEIVE.
Beloveds, tell me, how do these words land in your heart? In your body? Your spirit? Your mind?
Loving you 💖
